| How much does the quality of the contact data affect the performance of an outbound campaign? We have a fairly large database, but I suspect that some records are outdated or incomplete. Before outsourcing calls, I am wondering whether it is better to clean everything internally or whether the calling provider can help identify problems during the campaign.

| We encountered this issue while working with outsourced inside sales company , and the team helped us understand where the problems were. During the outbound campaign, agents could identify contacts with outdated information and record useful notes about the status of individual records. That gave us a much clearer picture of the quality of our database. We also received feedback about recurring issues, such as incomplete details or contacts that no longer matched our target audience. Rather than treating unsuccessful calls as meaningless, the information was incorporated into the reporting. This allowed us to improve the database while the campaign was running. I found that particularly valuable because we had previously looked at our contact list mainly as a collection of numbers and names. The outbound team helped us see it as something that required ongoing maintenance. The overall cooperation was positive, and the additional information made future outreach more organized.
